Inspection of Products/Damages/Claims
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all product(s) at the time of delivery if delivered by a Motor Truck. If there is any damage, the customer MUST note it on the signed bill of lading. If the damage is severe, the customer is advised to refuse the product(s) and contact Willow Creek Cabinets immediately. All claims of damage must be reported with 48 hours after delivery. No damage claims for Motor Truck deliveries will be accepted after 48 hours.
If product is delivered by UPS, Fed Ex or a similar carrier, the customer has up to 3 days to file a claim with Willow Creek Cabinets for damage. No claims will be accepted after 3 days if delivered by UPS, Fed Ex or similar carrier. All damaged products must be available for inspection for up to 90 days by the freight companies. To expedite the claims process, please take pictures of the damage and submit them to email@example.com . One picture is worth one thousand words!
Claims for Defective Product
Willow Creek Cabinets products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Willow Creek Cabinets will first attempt to replace parts where necessary. Items that are damaged via freight carriers are NOT considered defective.
If an item arrives slightly damaged or parts are missing, Willow Creek Cabinets will make every effort to obtain the necessary replacements as quickly as possible at no cost to the customer. If Willow Creek Cabinets is unable to replace the parts or repair the damage, a complete replacement unit will be sent to the customer. Willow Creek Cabinets reserves the right to replace damaged or defective merchandise within 14 calendar days of notification by the customer. If a replacement item is available for shipping within that time period a refund cannot be issued. If no replacement is available, the damaged/defective item(s) will be refunded in full.
Willow Creek Cabinets does NOT assume liability for labor charges, removal or re-installation expenses, freight or postage, injuries, or incidental or consequential damages resulting from a defective product. Any product problem which results from abuse, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, hard water, proximity to bodies of salt water or accidental damage, are not covered by any warranty set forth.
Claims for Damaged Product
Deliveries by Motor Truck Carrier
All Deliveries by a Motor Truck Carrier, MUST BE INSPECTED at the time of delivery. Once a customer has signed that products have been received in good condition, it is too late to make a claim. The customer MUST note on the bill of lading any damage to the product or to the exterior packaging or any missing pieces, or refuse the delivery altogether. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the products upon delivery. Once product is signed for and accepted in good condition, claims for damage cannot be lodged. If damaged is noted on the delivery receipt or the product(S) are refused, the customer has 48 hours from the time of delivery to file a freight damage claim. All damaged products must be available for inspection for up to 90 days.
Deliveries by UPS or FedEx
All materials received must be inspected within 3 days of receipt of materials. All claims for any reason must be brought to Willow Creek Cabinets’ attention with associated evidence within those 3 days for full credit for merchandise. You may be required to hold on to the damaged goods for up to 90 days for carrier inspection.
There is a 25% restocking fee for all product returned that is not damaged. The customer is responsible for all return freight charges as well as insuring the product's return to the appropriate warehouse. All non-damaged returned goods must be in the original packaging and must be in resalable condition. If non-damaged products are received back to Willow Creek Cabinets in unsaleable condition, they will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer's expense and no refund will be issued. If a replacement order is placed with Willow Creek Cabinets, the restocking fee may be reduced to 15% or waived depending on the circumstances and at the discretion of Willow Creek Cabinets.
Custom ordered items and custom finished goods are not cancelable, returnable or refundable at all regardless of any time constraints. It is our policy not to accept returns after 30 days of delivery. Exceptions may be made at Willow Creek Cabinets’ discretion as customer service is important.
Defective and Damaged Products are not subject to restocking fees. All returns require a return goods authorization (RGA) number. Please request your RGA via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or fax 843.377.8643.
All merchandise must be paid in full at the time of order. Any cancellation of the order at any time may result in the appropriate restocking fees. "Special Order" and Custom-finished products may not be cancelled after 24 hours because the production process began once the order was placed.
Sales Tax Policy
Willowcreekcabinets.com only collects sales tax for orders shipping to the state of South Carolina. Any orders shipping to any location outside the state of South Carolina or exported through a licensed broker in South Carolina are not subject to sales tax.
While Willow Creek Cabinets takes measures that their web site reflects accurate product information and pricing, sometimes an error may appear on the site. Willow Creek Cabinets is not responsible for misrepresentations or errors found on the site. , colors often vary depending on monitor settings and screen resolution, and may not always display accurately on a customer's screen. Willow Creek Cabinets makes every effort to be sure that the listed information and pricing on their site is accurate. Willow Creek Cabinets LLC will not be held liable for any typographical errors or prices listed incorrectly. Willow Creek Cabinets LLC reserves the right to refuse to sell or ship to any customer.
